B GOLDEN

Jewellery is a timeless accessory, fit to transform an outfit together and make a bold yet nuanced statement. B Golden, a black female-owned jewellery label, is making waves in the industry with its unique designs and high-quality pieces. Founded by the Angolian Brenda Santons in 2020, as a true creative child of the pandemic, B Golden has quickly gained popularity and was debuted during the SS23 New York Fashion Week.

Enchanté Communications met Brenda Santos on an overcast day in London, who dialled in from the other fashion capital of Europe: Paris. With a joyful delight around her, Brenda took us through the journey of B Golden, the challenges and the moments that brought her where she is today: radiating with happiness and class. When asked about what brought her to the world of jewellery design, her face lit up as she started combing through her childhood memories. “The true inspiration for B Golden Jewellery was my maternal grandmother. In every memory I have of her, she is just absolutely adorned with beautiful pieces of jewellery. I can trace my passion for jewellery back to her,” says Santos. The true catalyst was the 2020 pandemic, when Santos who previously worked in banking, felt an undeniable urge to pursue something she was more passionate about and took the leap to start B Golden Jewellery.

Challenges were no uncommon sight in Brenda’s journey, hailing from Angola, there was no real jewellery course so decided to teach herself how to translate her vision into designs and communicate these to skilled craftsmen who would bring them to life. And so it began.
